Beer Review: Leffe Bière de Noël/Kerstbier

IMG_9929_Crop

A great ale to begin an exploration of Christmas beers with. This beer has has a very fine head which doesn’t fully dissipate. The nose is nice and fruity which leads well into a sweet malty body. Overall the taste is similar to the Leffe Brune, but this beer has a lighter texture and leaves a warm spicy aftertaste that would go well with sitting around a Yule Log.
