Beer Review: Moa Festive IPA – Pine Edition

IMG_9965_crop

This is one of a few different Festive beers that Moa have put out this year. Being an American IPA the focus is very much hops. A similar beer was released last Christmas, the Moa Festive IPA Green Edition. The label is a very bright green, you really can’t miss it on a store shelf.

It starts off with a pleasantly sweet nose, moving into a thick smooth rich hop taste which is refreshing to drink, and finishing with a bitter hop taste. Very refreshing for a warm day and it will go down well on Christmas day, especially with the weather New Zealand has been having.

Who: Moa Brewing Company, New Zealand

What: American IPA

Nose: Fragrant sweet hops

Look: Dark golden clear

Taste: Thick hoppy taste, smooth

Finish: Smooth bitter hops

Form Tried: 500ml Bottle
