Beer Review: The Brews Brothers Dry Hopped Pilsnah

DSCN7794_crop.jpgThis is a collaboration between Steve Plowman of Hallertau and the Fine Wine Delivery Company. The beer is gluten free if you are into that kind of thing, but if they didn’t tell you that was the case you would never know that it was. Mainly because I don’t know what gluten tastes like.

As the name suggests this pilsner is very dry. Hops reign throughout but the taste and finish have that distinctive dry/sour taste. This taste pleasantly lingers in the mouth for a little while. The head is thin and quickly dissolves as it should.

A decent collaboration beer, hopefully we will see a few more from these guys. While I hope that we never see a Paleo beer in the future as the brewers were toying with, if it tasted like this it wouldn’t be so bad.
