This beer is amazing, I haven’t tried anything like it before. The Santorini Brewing Company have created the first IPA made in Greece and an IPA which is in my opinion unique in the IPA world. Yes it is hoppy as you would expect but the fragrance of the beer is something special. All I can think of is that is smells like a thick mastic. The nose has it, the taste, and the aftertaste has it, all the while still maintaining a light taste of hops that is signature to an IPA.
Being unfiltered (as is always the case with the Donkey range) the beer has a cloudy body and a thick yellow head. If this is a taste is what is to come from the Santorini Brewing Company, it will be very interesting indeed. Now all I need to do is figure out how to get some more…
